Humanities & Social Sciences
This track invites scholarship addressing human experience, culture, society, behavior, and global issues. It includes research in sociology, psychology, communication, philosophy, political science, ethics, linguistics, and anthropology. We welcome critical, interpretive, and empirical studies exploring identity, equity, globalization, governance, digital society, arts, and social transformation, as well as work connecting humanities insights with contemporary societal challenges.

This track features research on teaching, learning, curriculum design, AI-enabled instruction, digital pedagogy, learning analytics, language acquisition, TESOL, and assessment innovation. Dr. Bosede Iyiade Edwards

Dr. Edwards is a multidisciplinary scholar & researcher with over 15 years experience in education. She holds PhD & M.Ed. in Educational Technology, PGDip. Education, M.Sc. Organic Chemistry & B.Sc. (Hons) Chemistry. She has served as Principal Investigator on several funded international research projects & has a rich record of postgraduate supervision, research mentorship, training, academic publishing & global research collaboration. Her research interests are centered around instructional technologies, especially emerging media, AI in education, inclusive pedagogy and adaptive systems, focusing on and how these tools effectively integrate into diverse learning environments to enhance engagement, equity, justice and learner autonomy. She engages in global inter- & multi-disciplinary collaborations in both academia and industry and advocates bridging innovation with inclusive, evidence-based educational solutions.

Andy Lee

President of Innovation First International (Hong Kong) Limited, a multinational educational, consumer and industrial goods company founded in the USA. Innovation First is also the parent company of VEX Robotics, an industry leading developer of educational robotics and computer science solutions.
Andy joined Innovation First in 2010. In his current role, Andy works to promote the company’s educational hardware, software, certifications and curricula to educators and students in Asia Pacific.
Andy oversees partnership management and implementation for VEX 123, VEX GO, VEX AIM, VEX IQ, VEX EXP, VEX V5, CTE Workcell platforms and Professional Development Plus and VEXcode VR software. Andy is an accomplished executive with 15 years of progressive experience in implementing STEM programs and robotics competitions for students at all levels.
Andy holds an MBA from Hofstra University. Prior to that, he received his undergraduate degree specializing in Law from Carleton University. He is also a VEX Certified Educator. Andy has spoken and presented in several forum across the world. A few of his presentations include:

Dr. Adebanjo Adekiigbe

Dr. Adebanjo Adekiigbe holds Ph.D in Computing Networks from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. He is a senior researcher in the field of Computing Networks and Wireless Computing Technology. He is currently a Chief Lecturer (Professor) at the Federal Polytechnic Ede, Osun State, Nigeria where he focuses on teaching, research, and strategic decision-making within the institution. He serves as external examiner to several tertiary institutions. His research interests include routing protocols, wireless mesh networks, and data-driven decision-making in education. Dr. Adekiigbe has 25+ years’ experience in teaching and research, and has contributed to the field through numerous scientific publications in reputable journals indexed in databases like Scopus and ACM Digital Library focusing on topics such as congestion avoidance mechanisms, energy-aware routing protocols, machine learning and AI. Dr. Adekiigbe is also involved in community development in his community.

Dr. Hassan Abuhassna is an associate professor at Sunway University, Malaysia’s Faculty of Education, specializing in educational technology. Prior to this role, he served as an assistant professor at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), where he also completed a postdoctoral fellowship. Dr. Abuhassna earned his Ph.D. in Educational Technology from UTM and a Master’s degree from Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM). His research focuses on online education, MOOCs, and e-learning, with numerous publications indexed in prestigious databases such as Web of Science and Scopus. Dr. Abuhassna has a successful record of graduate and doctoral supervision as part of his contribution to the field. Throughout his academic career, he has demonstrated a strong commitment to advancing the integration of technology in education, contributing significantly to both research and pedagogy. His work continues to influence the field, positioning him as a respected figure in the academic community.
